MY APPROACH
When we work together, I’m always paying attention to the bigger picture—your relationships, your history, your culture, and the systems you move through every day. I know how heavy it can feel to keep showing up for work, family, and life while you’re hurting, and I don’t take lightly the trust it takes to invite someone into your story.
With couples, I’m especially interested in what’s happening underneath the arguments and distance. I draw from Dan Wile’s Collaborative Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method to help you slow things down, really hear each other, and shift out of painful cycles. For couples healing from infidelity or betrayal trauma, we move at a pace that honors both partners’ needs, working toward clarity, honesty, and—when desired—rebuilding trust.
In individual and family work, I support people carrying the weight of childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and big life transitions. Together, we make sense of how past experiences show up in the present, and we practice new ways of relating—to yourself and to the people you care about.
Above all, I want therapy with me to feel like a steady, grounded place where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out. We’ll move toward change in a way that feels respectful of your pace, your values, and your lived experience, with an eye toward more secure, authentic connections in your life.
