Family Therapy
Families are messy because people are messy—and that’s completely human. Even in loving families, things can start to feel tense, distant, or just “off.” Maybe boundaries are blurry, conversations turn into arguments, or everyone shuts down instead of talking. Big shifts—like divorce, illness, moving, blending families, or launching a teen into adulthood—can make all of that feel even heavier.
You don’t have to figure this out on your own or be the one holding everything together. Family therapy offers a space where everyone’s experience matters. Together, we can work on clearer communication, reducing conflict, and making room for each person’s feelings and needs. It can also be a powerful way to notice and gently interrupt generational patterns that no longer serve you, so you can create something healthier going forward.
My approach to family counseling is compassionate, curious, and down-to-earth. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for your family while still being honest about what’s getting in the way of connection. Whether you’re trying to rebuild trust, set more respectful boundaries, or simply feel closer and more understood, reaching out is a meaningful first step. I’m here to walk alongside your family as you practice new ways of relating and work toward more safety, honesty, and warmth at home.
